From an early age, I was drawn to photography. I grew up travelling with my parents and watching them document the world through their lenses — fascinated by the way a single image could hold so much story and emotion.
That fascination turned into a lifelong pursuit. I began shooting over 25 years ago, back in the film era, teaching myself through research, experimentation, and plenty of trial and error. In those early days, I photographed everything from weddings and portraits to cars, bikes, and landscapes — and travelled extensively through the USA, Canada, New Zealand, and Fiji with a camera always in hand.
Landscape photography has always been my core passion. It’s what sparked my interest in photography, and it still fuels my creative drive. But over the years, I’ve diversified into many areas, especially commercial photography and videography — which now form the backbone of my business.
In 2017, I opened my own gallery in Geelong to showcase and sell large-scale fine art landscape prints — something I’d dreamed of since childhood. While it was a rewarding chapter, I soon realised I preferred being out in the field, creating rather than curating.
Around the same time, I began exploring video — and quickly discovered a whole new world of creative possibilities. What started as a personal interest grew into a serious part of my work. After a year of self-directed learning and hands-on experimentation, I began offering video production professionally. Today, video makes up a significant part of what I do, from promotional content and brand storytelling to commercial and documentary-style projects.
I also believe strongly in giving back. I regularly donate my time and skills — particularly through video — to support charity organisations, fundraisers, and community initiatives. Life’s not all about money, and if I can use what I do to help others or give voice to a cause, that’s incredibly rewarding. Having a strong social conscience is important to me, and volunteering is one way I try to make a difference.
Whether I’m behind the camera capturing a dramatic coastal landscape or working with a business to bring their vision to life through photo or film, I bring the same passion, attention to detail, and creative curiosity to every project.
